Shared Folder For Windows And Mac Vmware

I set up a new Windows 2000 Pro (with SP4) VM and enabled shared folders on it, but I can't figure out how to access them in the VM. Should they not automatically show up in the in the File Explorer? I see the link for VMware Shared Folders in My Network Places/Entire Network, but when I click on it I get an message 'Network is not present or not started'. I also see them in the Map Network Drive wizard, but the OK button is unavailable when they are selected. I had this working when I first set up my Win 2K VM a couple of months ago, but it got corrupted an I have to start from scratch.

Please try the following steps to remove the 'linkCreation.dotm' from Word startup folder on Mac to resolve the issue: On Mac machine, go to the following path: ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup/Word/ Find and remove the linkCreation.dotm from this folder.
