Hmm, before this indication of your financial situation, I was going to suggest you do what I did - buy an N64 controller from Nintendo's website and a USB adapter for it. But since this doesn't seem to be an option, I propose the following configuration for your dualshock: d-pad and left analog should be obvious. L1->L L2->Z X -> A Square -> B Circle -> C-down Triangle -> C-left R1->C-right R2->R Start->Start Select->C-up This will set you up with a scheme similar to that of Wind Waker's, with the top-right shoulder button forming your third inventory-use slot (like the GC's Z button). C-up is rarely used in OoT, aside from listening to the obnoxious fairy, but sometimes you want to be able to look around in first-person. Select is out of the way enough for this. If your emulator allows it, double-bind the right analog stick for all four C-directions.

This'll get you closer to Wind Waker's setup, and provide a more intuitive method for other tasks that require the c-buttons, not to mention making the controller config a bit more useful for other games as well. 3dx chat for mac. Hope this helps.
