There is absolutely no support available for that version & there will be no further updates for security or any other purposes. Additionally, there is no assurance that Office 2008 will continue to be viable as OS X progresses - apparently there are a number of concerns that have been reported by users of 10.11.x (El Crapitan). I'm not certain, but due to its old code base it may not even run on Apple's next version of OS X.
