Chris 4 years ago Hello! I have got Samsung nx30 and Samsung lens 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 OIS III and a lot of issues with it. Firts, when I’m recording (In photography it doesn’t matter so much and I’m mainly recording) on my screen when I move the camera I can see the shadow, one time on left side, one time on right, it change when I move camera. I don’t have any idea how to fix this and i don’t know is it problem with camera or lens? Second, when I’m recording and doing shoots from ground to sea, from up to down, or when I’m fast moving camera when recording the ground (recording with glidecam) It becoming blurred, I could see pixels.

This issues, problems are very annoying Cheers 😉 Chris. 3 years ago Hello Marselino, The Samsung NX 18-200mm lens is mostly recommended for video recording, because its still picture quality is not adequate for a 20MP imaging sensor. It also has a very high price tag. I would only recommend it as a “swiss army knife” type of solution if you are afraid of exchanging lenses in the field. However, the NX30 features built-in ultrasonic cleaning for the imaging sensor, so dust ingestion shouldn’t be a big problem.

(On the other hand some people are clumsy and may drop lenses while swapping them.) The Samsung NX 50-200mm tele lens has better still image quality, but it still lacks powerful apertures and may have a problem with autofocus in low light. In general the autofocus of NX 50-200mm is slow even in broad daylight. On the other hand, it is really affordabe!

(If you have big funds, the NX 50-150mm S professional telephoto lens is better but may be an overkill for the NX30 body. Another solution could be the most excellent NX 85mm f/1,4 “portrait” lens with a 2x teleconverter, provided you can live with the fixed focal lenght and accept the high price tag.) Allegedly there will be a fixed 300mm f/2,8 pro-grade Samsung tele lens for the NX bayonet, but it is still in the prototype phase and the price will be very high anyhow. Best regards: Tamas Feher, Hungary. Artur 3 years ago Please, I tried to update my 50-200mm iii ed ois first by Samsung iLauncher, which shows there is the new 1.11 version. But there is some problem when it tries to unzip the file (it’s a complete automated process). So, I search on Web and found your site and, fortunatelly, you have the file for manual download and unzip, but, you say version 1.11 and the link points to 50-200mm-iFn2_v1.10_0508.

When I upload the uncompressed file to my camera and try to update, it shows 1.10 –> 1.10? Is that correct? Rakesh 3 years ago Hey Matt nice source you got there have one problem I have a Samsung Galaxy nx with a 18-200mm nx lens problem is any time I have the ois toggle to on it make the screen jump when I press the shutter button to take a photo and for movies it only jumps a lot it show on the movie clip My lens firmware is running the layers firmware according to your list so I don’t know what’s happening man because I live in Trinidad and Tobago and no one here has the capabilities with this camera or lens.

Mkv file player mac os x. Jamie 2 years ago Hi, I have a samsung galaxy NX body with a 18-55 lens and additional 60mm F2.8 Macro Lens. As hard as I try I cannot get any firmware updates loaded. The I Launcher cannot see it from my windows laptop to search for firmware.

I have downloaded ZIP files from samsung support site for the bin files for the firmwares and dropped into both the root of the camera and SD card but the firmware in settings always remains greyed out. Is there a fault with the galaxy NX? How do i get upgrades to lens firmwares for the macro lens? Basically the issue I am trying to rectify is the macro lens only captures good resolution of the centre of the photos of and the sides are blurry and dark. I work in dentistry trying to capture all the teeth in their biting position with the macro but I can only get a the central teeth but not the side molars. Any assistance would be most appreciated!
