On my machine, the connectors are higher up and a bit more to the left than shown in the drawing.
Not a big problem: if you look at the connector at the end of the cable, it's pretty easy to figure out what the corresponding connector on the motherboard looks like. I bought this card because the original NVIDIA 7300 card died. So far the new card seems to be working fine. The new card has its own fan, the old one didn't, so I was afraid that the new card would make the machine a lot louder, but I haven't noticed any significant difference. March 12, 2013 This graphics card replaced a nVidia GeForce 8800 GT graphics card with stunning results. Text is more distinct and colors are deeper and richer. I notice as well that programs load faster and response time across the board seems to be much quicker. Installation took less than 5 minutes and was painless. This card upgrade added life expectancy to my my Mac Pro 2008 and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I would recommend this item to a friend!
